Man shot at home; suspect sought

wpid137133-wpid-sjpd-patch1.jpgSaint Joseph police say a shooting sent a man to the hospital with a leg wound Wednesday night.

Police Sergeant Brad Kerns says the victim reported that the shooter entered his residence in the 1100 block of South 19th Street and during a confrontation, shot him in the leg.  Police were called at 10:42 pm.

Sergeant Kerns says the victim was transported to Mosaic Life Care with what were described as minor injuries.  The suspect remains at large.  The shooting is still under investigation.
