Police allegedly caught a man in the act of burglarizing a home Friday in St. Joseph.

According to St. Joseph Police Capt. Jeff Wilson officers responded to a home on Genefield after a neighbor reported suspicious activity to police.

“Caught him in the house, called him out and arrested him,” Wilson said. “Had property from the house in his possession.”

A 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with the burglary investigation.

Charges have not yet been filed.
