A second person has died from injuries sustained in a crash just over a week ago in Livingston County.
In a late-death notification, the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 74-year-old Perry McCollum of Tina, Missouri died last Thursday September 17, in the intensive care unit at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City.
His wife Karen McCollum, 55, was killed in the crash on US-65 highway north of Chillicothe.
According to the online crash report, the McCollums’ vehicle was hit head-on after a motorist failed to negotiate a curve and crossed the center line. The other driver, Ronnie Fauss, 53, of Corder, was treated for moderate injuries at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
