A St. Joseph man has been charged after an August motorcycle crash on Lovers Lane.

25-year-old Quinn Reeder was charged Tuesday in Buchanan County with operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident.

The charge stems from an accident that took place on Aug. 25 that the St. Joseph Police Department said shutdown Lovers Lane around the 2200 block for several hours and sent a passenger, 27-year-old Zachary Sauls to the hospital with a serious injury.

Reeder is scheduled for an arraignment in the case Sept. 29.
