
NFL Pro-Bowler Mike Rucker will present a gold football today to his alma mater Benton High School.
Rucker is a former defensive end for the Carolina Panthers. He played with the Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2003.
As part of the NFL’s Super Bowl 50 Celebration a gold football is being sent to every high school in the world that has produced a player or coach who’s appeared in the Super Bowl. The NFL estimates that over 3,000 players have played in the Super Bowl, along with 52 coaches.
Rucker will make the presentation at Benton at 2:10 p.m.
