Big 12 Offensive Players of the Week
KaVontae Turpin, TCU, WR, Fr., Monroe, La.

Turpin hauled in six catches for 138 yards and four touchdowns in No. 3 TCU’s 50-7 victory over Texas. Two of the TD grabs came in the first quarter, helping the Horned Frogs jump out to an early 30-0 lead. Turpin also added two carries for 14 yards, a four yard punt return and a 26-yard kickoff return to finish with 182 all-purpose yards in the game. For the season, the freshman from Monroe, La. is second on the team with 634 all-purpose yards.

The sophomore also completed 10-of-14 passes on third and fourth-down attempts in the game, with all 10 completions resulting in first downs. Rudolph’s 437 passing yards were the most for an OSU sophomore and marked the fourth-highest single-game total in school history. He is one of only two underclassmen in the country with multiple 400-yard passing games this season.

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week
Eric Striker, Oklahoma, LB, Sr., Seffner, Fla.

Striker tied career highs with 12 tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss, and registered two sacks and a forced fumble in No. 14 Oklahoma’s 44-24 win over No. 21 West Virginia. The fumble was returned by teammate Jordan Evans 41 yards for a touchdown to help ice the Sooners’ second win over a ranked opponent this season. Striker increased his career sack total to 18.0, the most by an OU linebacker and 11th-highest overall in program history. His performance helped the Sooners hold West Virginia to an average of 4.3 yards per play after the Mountaineers averaged 6.8 yards per play in their first three games.

Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week
Austin Seibert, Oklahoma, PK/P, Fr., Bellville, Ill.

Seibert made all three of his field goal attempts and each of his five point-after tries while also averaging 43.4 yards on his five punts in No. 14 OU’s 44-24 win over No. 21 West Virginia. His field goals came from 40, 25 and 44 yards as he moved into first place among Big 12 kickers (second overall) in points per game (10.5). Three of Seibert’s punts were downed inside the 20-yard line and two went for more than 50 yards (51 and 58). Seibert is perfect on his kick attempts on the year, connecting on all seven field goal and all 21 of his point-after tries.
