Dense fog in Clinton County may have contributed to a single vehicle crash that sent a Maysville man to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Aaron Gaunt drove through a Y-intersection along Route-A west of Turney just before 7am Wednesday.

According to the crash report, his Chevy went through the intersection, hit a MoDOT sign and went into a ditch.

Mr Gaunt suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment
