A woman was taken to the hospital after a three vehicle crash on I-29 Wednesday in St. Joseph.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Michelle Davis, 42 of St. Joseph was taken by private vehicle to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of minor injuries after a crash around 7:45 a.m. on Northbound I-29 at mile marker 44.

The highway patrol said Harold Crittendon, 55 of Atchison, Kan. was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Impala, Davis was driving a 2010 Kia Forte, and Chad Pauly, 39 of Atchison Kan. was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla all traveling northbound on I-29. The Patrol said Crittendon and Davis were slowing due to a non-related accident ahead of them and Pauly did not stop in time hitting the rear of Davis’s vehicle. This in turn caused Davis’s vehicle to hit the rear of Crittendon’s. All vehicles were moved to the shoulder prior to officer’s arrival.
