ST. JOSEPH, Mo – U.S. Route 36 will close briefly on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 for utility work.

Kansas City Power and Light, in conjunction with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, will close U.S. Route 36 between Interstate 29 and Route AC in order to move a power line from one utility pole to a new one.

This rolling closure will occur sometime between 9 and 11 a.m.

Motorists will not need to seek an alternate route, but should expect delays. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
