The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released the names of the victims in a huge, chain-reaction crash on I-70 in mid-Missouri Tuesday morning.

Two people were killed and five others were injured in the crash near the Kingdom City exit.

Killed in the accident were Robert S. Brainerd, 46, of St Louis and Charles S. Moore, 46, of Nicholasville, Kentucky.

According to the MSHP’s online crash report, five people were injured. All were transported by ambulance to University Hospital:

Clara Conn, 71, of Moorehead, Kentucky (serious)
Sonny Conn, 71, of Moorehead, Kentucky (serious)
Mark D. Goddard, 54, of Osawatomie, Kansas (serious)
Aaron M. Shipps, 23, of Osawatomie, Kansas (moderate)
Brandi R. Clements, 42, of Williamsburg, Missouri (moderate)

Three tractor-trailers, three pickup trucks and a sport utility vehicle were involved in the crash at the eastbound Kingdom City exit.
