A Cameron man is recovering from moderate injuries after a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday near Stewartsville.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 32-year-old Joseph Smith lost control of his SUV along US-36 highway, three miles west of Stewartsville at about 3:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The vehicle left the highway and came to rest on its top. Mr Smith was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
