Snow chances overnight for northern Missouri

11220902_897629136958397_1085097191648553158_nThe National Weather Services says a snowstorm over Iowa is going to brush parts of northern Missouri tonight. Be careful if you live in these areas because quickly falling temperatures and gusty winds will make for some slick roads Saturday morning.

Today
Rain likely, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 49. South southeast wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tonight
Rain before midnight, then a chance of rain and snow between midnight and 3am, then a slight chance of snow after 3am. Low around 28. Blustery, with a south wind 7 to 12 mph becoming north northwest 17 to 22 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
