Delbert L. Andrus
1919-2015

Andrus, Delbert. obitphoto Delbert L. Andrus, 96, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at a local healthcare facility.
He was born January 21, 1919 in Severance, Kansas.
He worked several jobs in many different places but always returned to the farm.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, William and Laura (Robison) Andrus; brothers, Recil & Kenneth Andrus; and sisters, Laura Patton and Cleota Graham.
Survivors include brothers, Connie Andrus and Ronald Andrus (Leona); sisters, Phyllis Miller (Earl) and Ardith Steinman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will gather with friends 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.

Lois (McClelland) Knox Moore
1920-2015

Moore, Lois. obitphoto Lois M. (McClelland) Moore, 95, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Carriage Square Health Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Mrs. Moore was born February 4, 1920 in Hamilton, Missouri to Henry Duane and Lela (Banks) McClelland. She was a 1939 graduate of Hamilton, Missouri High School. She was a long time member of Brookdale Presbyterian Church, St. Joseph.
Mrs. Moore was the owner of Knox Café, Weston, Missouri in the 1950’s. In 1977 she retired from Wonder Bakeries where she managed their retail outlet.
On July 9, 1939, she and Willie L. Knox were married. January 31, 1969, she and Lloyd C. Moore married.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by both Mr. Knox and Mr. Moore; her parents; sisters, Jennie Bullard, Fannie Cashatt and Georgia Breckenridge.
Surviving are stepson, Lonnie R. Moore (Kathy), Warrensburg, Missouri; brother, Franklin McClelland (Jane), Amarillo, Texas; step-grandchildren, Cynthia, Daniel (Molly) and Paul Moore; and step-great-grandchildren, Jonathan, David and Jenna Moore.
As requested there will be a private graveside service and burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri. The family requests memorial donations to Brookdale Presbyterian Church. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
