A Savannah man is accused of stalking and harassing a girl with his vehicle.
According to online court documents, 22-year-old Colton Lee Mitchell is charged in Andrew County with a misdemeanor for harassment of a person 17 or younger, a misdemeanor for stalking, and two misdemeanors for operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner.
The charges stem from an incident that allegedly took place Friday in Andrew County.
“The suspect followed the victim from Jesse’s Last Stop in Savannah to E-Hwy and onto C-Hwy, driving up close to the victims rear dumper then passing her two or three times then he pulled in front of her vehicle at the 102 bridge and blocked the road,” Deputy Robert Elam with the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department said in a probable cause statement. “She drove around the suspects and continued to her residence in Rosendale.”
A warrant was issued for Mitchell with bail set at $1,000 cash only and house arrest with tracking and no contact with the victim.
