Matthew “Matt” Wood, 37, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the arms of his heavenly father.
He was born June 30, 1978 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He was a Central High School class of 1997 graduate. After high school he moved to Colorado for 2 years.
He was employed for over 12 years at Altec.
Matt enjoyed spending time with family. He enjoyed deer hunting with family and friends and fishing at different family ponds. He loved camping, bbq and smoking meats. His favorite thing was watching his kids compete in softball and football.
Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Velma Matthias; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Wood.
Survivors include his daughter, Chyann; son, Ethan Curtis; parents, Gwen and Joseph Wood; mother of his children, Treasa Wood; aunts and uncles, Karlyn (Lee); Moe (Bridget), Walter (Kim), Lorri (Mike) and Barbara (Heidi); cousins, Michael, Brian, Josh, Erica, Adam, Adrienne, Jonathan, Brad, Wendy, and Katie.

Doris J. (Miles) Taylor, 81, Mound City, Missouri passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Legend at Mingo Rd in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was born August 15, 1934 in Mound City, MO.
Doris married Keith D. Taylor on February 14, 1954.
She was a homemaker in her own home all her life but also worked in the office with her husband, Keith.
Doris was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Mound City, Missouri.
Doris always had a servants heart, and she loved serving whether it was through her church the community or with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Denzil and Theota (Taylor) Miles.
Survivors include sons, Michael Taylor (Krista), Ft. Collins, Colorado and Miles Taylor (Lana), Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jason Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Alecia Taylor, Nate Taylor, Stacy Taylor and Tracy Malham; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Avery, Jaycee, Jillian, Isaac and Michael Joseph; brother, Virgil Miles (Patricia); sister-in-law, Gladys Albers; brother-in-law, Ron Taylor (Leigh); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alberta Nash, 88, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born October 12, 1927 in Coatopa, Alabama.
Alberta married Rev. Leroy T. Nash, Sr. on October 10, 1970.
She was a graduate of Sumner High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lincoln University in 1951. She taught in St. Joseph but retired from the Alton, Illinois School District.
Mrs. Nash was a member of St. Francis Baptist Temple and Sigma Gamma Rho at Lincoln University and she was a past Girl Scout Leader. She loved to sing, read her Bible and liked to cook and knit.
She was preceded in death by her husband; cousin and best friend, Rosie Gillispie; and mother and father, Owen Cartmell and Corena (Spencer) Cartmell.
Survivors include daughter, Jacqueline Williams (John); granddaughters, Precious Love (Ron Strader) and LaVesca Love-Moore (Michael); grandson, John Williams, Jr. (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Kenneth and Charles Strader, Brayden Moore and Nya Love-Moore, Jordan and Olivia Williams; and a host of estranged relatives in Mississippi. Wayne D. Clabaugh, I, 62, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015, while surrounded by his family, at a local healthcare facility.
He was born June 14, 1953 in North Platte, Nebraska.
Wayne married Osella Sue Lonjers on February 8, 1974 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
His children and grandchildren were his life. He was a Pastor in Ministry for 25 years and he served through In the Garden Ministries to thousands daily for over 14 years.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and LaVonna (Blakeman) Clabaugh; son, Micah David Clabaugh; and sister, Lois Tyler.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Osella; children, Angel Reno (Rick), Rebecca Clabaugh, Wayne Clabaugh II (Jordan) and Carrie Swope (Michael); fifteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He graduated from Christian Brothers high school and was the owner & operator of Jim’s Painting and papering Co. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Preceding him in death are his parents, wife, Jeanette Wright, and son, Jeff Wright. Vicci Leland Nelson 64, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care hospital. She was born July 28, 1951 in Waterville, Maine, daughter of Virginia and Adrian Keirstead. She graduated from high school and attended 2 years of college. She married Bill Nelson on November 3, 1995 in St. Joseph and they shared 20 years together. She worked at North West MO Phychiatric Rehabilitation Center, in the medical records department. She enjoyed quilting, crochetting, sewing, mowing grass, gardening, and her cats, and was a member of Faucett Baptist Church. Vicci was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Maria Pease. Survivors include, husband, Bill Nelson of the home, daughters, Angela Pasch and Rebecca Irish of Maine, son, Dale Dubey of MI. step-daughter, Alecia Nelson of St. Joseph, MO. 2 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 1 brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert “Bob” Dale Walter Sr.

Robert “Bob” Dale Walter Sr. 73, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care hospital. He was born September 25, 1942 in Perry, OH, son of Marie “Irene” and Paul Walter. He married Joy Miller on February 20, 2011in St. Joseph. He served in the United States Army. He worked at Golden West Mobile Home as a builder and also was a carpenter. He was a wonderful artist specializing in sea shells and light houses, he also enjoyed teaching art at the Elementary School in Albany, Oregon. He also enjoyed playing pool and fishing in his younger years. He was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred Walter, 1st wife Sharon Walter, two sisters, LaVonne Walter, and Grace Genna. Survivors include, wife, Joy Walter of the home, son, Robert D. (Heide) Walter of Vancouver, WA, daughter, Amanda (Steve) Bee of Albany, OR, seven step-sons, Owen Miller, Jonathan (Jennifer) Miller of St. Joseph, MO, Glen (Mary) Miller of Union Star, MO, Ora (Helen) Miller of Owosso, MI, Andrew (Shanda) Miller of Fillmore, MO, James (Andrea) Miller of Faucett, MO, and David Miller of St. Joseph, MO, 25 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother, Jerry (Suyapa) Walter of Summerville, SC, four sisters, Mary Ellen Ludwick of Perry, OH, Joyce (Daniel) Camero of San Antonio, TX, Elsie Miller of Melbourne, FL, and Marilyn Boggs of Barberton, OH, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
