Officials at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri evacuated a residence hall early Monday morning because of a possible threatening situation.
In a campus announcement, officials said the Brown Residence Hall on campus was evacuated at approximately 2:15 a.m. The entire campus remained closed Monday morning and was expected to remain so at least until authorities were able to update the public. That update was expected at 9 a.m. Monday.
Officials say statements made by an individual made them suspicious, and they say the individual’s vehicle was found parked in a lot near the dormitory. They called in the bomb squad. An emergency team moved students from Brown Hall to a safe location.
