St Joe residents injured in KC crash

MSHP badge goldTwo St Joseph residents avoided serious injuries in a crash on I-29 in Kansas City early Friday morning.

The crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates the driver lost control of her Lexus on I-29 at I-635 shortly after 12:30am Friday. The vehicle hit a guardrail.  Online records identify her as 20-year-old Kayla Keith of St Joseph. She was treated and released at North Kansas City Hospital for minor injuries.

A passenger, Riah Cook, 19, of St Joseph, suffered moderate injuries but refused treatment. Another passenger, 20-year-old Janea Macierowski of Atchison, Kansas, refused treatment of minor injuries.
