Several roads in Buchanan County will remain closed through the weekend due to flooding.

Buchanan County Emergency Management Director, Bill Brinton said the Platte River is going down but several county roads are going to stay closed until at least Monday, Dec. 21.

Those roads include:

– SE Rock Creek Rd.

– SE 115th Rd.

– SE Horn Rd.

– SE 80th Rd.

– SE Saxton Easton Rd.

– SE Kemmer Rd.

– SE 123rd Rd.

– SE 112th Rd.

– SE 68th Rd.

– SE Mitchell Rd.

Brinton said county crews will check the roads Monday and update the conditions at that point in time.

Saxton Easton Rd, near SE 70th Rd. will however remain closed until Dec. 24. Brinton said that closure is due to weather issues.
