A crash south of Faucett claims the life of a 69-year-old Faucett man. The Missouri State Highway Patrol identifies the victim as Thomas Robinson of Faucett.

According to the crash report, Mr Robinson lost control of his pickup truck along Missouri Route-371, two miles south of Faucett at about two pm. The vehicle left the roadway, and hit two underground utility markers.

The truck then crossed the highway, rammed into an embankment and a fence before careening through a pasture and into a tree.

The victim was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment, but was pronounced dead.
