A Wetmore, Kansas woman was killed and three young children were injured in a broadside crash with a semi in Nemaha County, Kansas Thursday morning.

A crash report from the Kansas Highway Patrol indicates 37-year-old Rebecca Lynne Crismas failed to yield at a stop sign on West Road at US-36 highway south of Sabetha.

A tractor-trailer on the highway crashed into the woman’s van just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Three children, ages 11, three and one, along with the driver of the semi, were transported to area hospitals.
