The body of a missing western Missouri Duck Hunter was found Friday morning in the water of a wildlife area.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said around 10:08 a.m. search teams recovered a body in the water at the Four Rivers Conservation Area in Vernon County.
The body was positively identified as Adam J. Nixson, 29, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Nixson was reported missing on Saturday, December 28, 2015, after he failed to return from a duck hunting trip.
Once recovered, the body was released to the Vernon County Coroner David Ferry and transported to the Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, Missouri.
