An Eagleville, Missouri woman was hospitalized for injuries sustained in a traffic crash involving a deer in the roadway west of Bethany.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates Marion Mecca, 57, crashed her minivan into the animal in the roadway along U.S. highway 136 four miles west of Bethany at 6:18 p.m.

Ms Mecca was transported to the Northwest Medical Center in Albany. Her injuries were described at the scene as minor.
