Three taken to hospital after crash into tree in DeKalb

wpid-mshp-logo111.jpgThree women were taken to the hospital Monday morning in DeKalb County after a vehicle went off the road and hit a tree.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Laura Olsen, 55 of Lawson was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer westbound on US 36 about 8 miles west of Cameron around 8:25 a.m. when she lost control and the vehicle went off the north side of the road and hit a tree.  Laura Olsen and her two passengers, Grace Daniels, 81 of Cameron and Lindsey Olsen, 27 of Lawson were all taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment of what was described as moderate injuries.

All three were reported to be wearing their seat belts.
