A 61-year-old man has been taken into custody after a stabbing Thursday night in St. Joseph.

Capt. Jeff Wilson said a 38-year-old man was reported to have been stabbed Thursday evening in the 700 block of Locust. The man was taken with a serious but not life threatening injury to Mosaic Life Care for treatment.

Wilson said the suspect was located in the area and arrested. Detectives are continuing to investigate.
