The annual Farm City Breakfast is Friday at the Word of Life Church, 3902 N. Riverside Road in St Joseph. The breakfast event has generated record crowds in the past.

Breakfast will be served at 7:00 a.m. and the program starts at 7:45. Featured speaker, Sen. Roy Blunt (R. Missouri), will speak beginning at about 8:20 a.m. Tom Brand will present the annual Hall of Fame Award, and officials will update attendees about the AFA Scholarship Program and the ongoing Ag Expo project.

Sen. Blunt will speak on the subject of “Advancing Missouri’s Agriculture Leadership in the 21st Century.

Tickets are available at the door or through the sponsor, the St Joseph Chamber of Commerce.
