MARYVILLE, Mo. – Northwest Missouri State University fraternity men will don women’s high heels and “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” to show support for women and raise awareness about domestic violence.
The nationally recognized Walk-A-Mile philanthropy begins at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the Memorial Bell Tower on the Northwest campus. The event is sponsored by Northwest’s Interfraternity Council.
For a cost of $10, individuals will walk one mile in women’s high heels to raise money for the Children and Family Center of Northwest Missouri. Participants also receive a T-shirt.
