Walking and beer is a combination one local organization hopes will raise funding for the arts in St. Joseph.

Allied Arts Council’s 4th Annual Beer Walk for the Arts is taking sign-ups.  The Beer Walk will be held Saturday, April 30 from 2 – 5 p.m. The walk allows patrons to go inside beautiful homes from St. Joseph’s Historic Museum Hill Neighborhood and sample craft beers with the perfect food pairings. Check-in for the Beer Walk is at The Dome at 1201 Felix St. Joseph, MO 64501.

The Arts Council said tickets are now available for purchase. The cost is $35 per person, or $50 a pair (pair discount available through April 1) and quantities are limited. Ticket price includes beer tastings and food pairings.
