The St. Joseph Police Department has released new details into an armed robbery investigation at a convenience store over the weekend.
As we previously reported, officers responded to the Speedy’s Gas Station located at 2728 Messanie St. around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Capt. Jeff Wilson said two suspects reportedly entered the store, one allegedly pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money, the other demanded cigarette packs.
A description provided by police said one had on a dark sweatshirt or jacket with a blue bandanna over his face. The other, was described as wearing a dark orange coat and a blue bandanna over his face. Both were previously described as white men.
