A 13-year-old boy was injured in the crash of a 3-wheel utility vehicle in Mercer County Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report indicates Michael McFee was towing a small utility trailer southwest of Mercer shortly before 2:00 p.m. when his leg became caught in the wheel and he was pulled off the vehicle and run over.

McFee was transported to Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa for treatment of what were described as moderate injuries.
