(vocals/guitar) and Cody Braun (vocals/fiddle/mandolin/harmonica), is an alternative country rock outfit formed in Bend, Oregon before relocating to Austin, Texas, in January 1997. The Brauns had previously toured with their father in Muzzie Braun & the Boys, a western swing band. Songs Under the Table and Above the Sun from 2003 began the band’s relationship with the high profile Sugar Hill label and won the hearts of the music press and honky tonkin’ legend Joe Ely, who sang the band’s praises in interviews. Reckless Kelly’s album “Wicked Twisted Road” was released in 2005, and the next year the live album “Reckless Kelly Was Here,” which featured songs from all of their previous studio records, as well as three covers, and truly captured the band’s stage presence!

Tyler Folkerts is an up and coming country artist from Northwest Missouri who has been traveling the Midwest playing shows and turning heads everywhere he goes. For Tyler, it all started with YouTube. In college he picked up a guitar and started posting cover videos to see what kind of reception he would get. Five years and 1.5 million views later, Tyler owes much of his success and opportunities to this multimedia outlet. The biggest catalyst for Tyler’s career thus far was being named a final cast member for Season 8 of NBC’s The Voice. Tyler continues to work on his craft and prepare himself for wherever music may take him. He is sure to please this year’s Albany Rhythm & Roots audience.
