The city of Maryville, Missouri has once again been singled out for safety.

In a list published last week by the Web site backgroundchecks.org, Maryville ranked #11 in the site’s list of the state’s safest cities.  The Web site uses FBI violent crime reports and other data to compile the list for each state.

Liberty was listed 26th safest.  St Joseph did not make the list.

Taking top honors was Town And Country, Mo, in St Louis County.
