Chillicothe man seriously injured after crash with deer

wpid-mshp-logo111.jpgA Chillicothe man was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after the vehicle he was driving hit a deer in Livingston County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dennis Evans, 52 was driving a 1995 Honda Shadow southbound on country road 419 about 2.5 miles south of Utica a little after 7 p.m. when he hit a deer in the roadway.

Evans was taken by ambulance to hedrick Medical Center with a serious injury.  He was reported to be wearing a seat belt.
