The crash on Saturday of an ATV driven by a seven-year-old Kingston, Missouri boy sent the youngster to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash happened in a private field west of Sharp Road and north of Grindstone Road, about three miles northeast of Clarksdale at 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

The youngster, identified in the crash report as Anthony Barnett, was flown to Children’s Mercy Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
