A man has been charged in Buchanan County after a crash over the weekend ended in the front yard of a home on 22nd street.

Dustin Pullins has been charged with DWI.

Capt. Jeff Wilson with the St. Joseph Police Dept. said Pullins was allegedly driving in a careless manner Saturday around 1 a.m. and lost control of the vehicle and hit a rock wall on the east side of 22nd St.  The vehicle came to rest in the front yard of a home in the 200 block of south 22nd.

Wilson said Pullins was the only individual injured during the one vehicle crash near 22nd and Edmond.   He was taken to Mosaic Life Care then quickly released into police custody. He’s being held on $5,000 bond.
