A motorcyclist from Iowa escaped with minor injuries after a crash in Harrison County Sunday evening.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Carl Hofmann of Cellerton, Iowa was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital after the accident north of Bethany.

According to the crash report, Mr Hofmann failed to navigate a turn along U.S. Highway 69 at about 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Harley Davidson left the highway, went down an embankment and rammed into a tree.  Mr. Hofmann suffered what were described at the scene as minor injuries.
