This year’s choreography showcase at Missouri Western is Saturday night. The Department of Theatre, Cinema and Dance will offer performances in tap, jazz and modern dance choreographed by students and faculty.
Performances begin at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Potter Hall Theater. The event is free and open to the public.
The second annual Griffon Film Festival is scheduled Sunday at Missouri Western. The university’s cinema students will present work created in the Intro to Video Production class from 11 a.m. to noon. From 3 to 4 p.m. they’ll screen documentaries, and thesis film screenings begin at 7 p.m.
The event is open to the public at the Potter Hall Theater, and is offered free of charge.
