A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after a rollover crash on 36 Highway in Buchanan County.
The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Dept. said a 40-year-old Cameron man was driving a white pickup truck and following too close to another vehicle.
“He swerved to miss a vehicle and hit a tractor-trailer causing him to roll his vehicle,” said Col. Bill Puett.
The crash took place around 8 a.m. just east of St. Joseph.
Puett said the man was taken by ambulance to the hospital for evaluation and later released without injury.
The man was issued tickets for following too close and not wearing a seat-belt. The driver of the semi was not injured.
