A seatbelt and child restraint enforcement resulted in tickets and warnings Friday in Chillicothe.
Around 7 a.m. Friday the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Chillicothe Police Department conducted a seatbelt and child restraint enforcement. The operation was set to target parents and young drivers who were not using proper vehicle restraints for themselves and/or their child passengers.
It was held on Dickinson Street at Calhoun/Cooper Streets. Chillicothe Police said the operation was targeted for the drivers delivering children to Dewey Elementary School and was conducted for approximately a 45 minute period.
