1927-2016

Wolfram, Betty. obitphoto (1)Betty (Snapp) Wolfram, 88, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born December 3, 1927 in Holt County, Missouri.
Betty married James S. Wolfram on April 12, 1947.
She worked for Whitaker Cable for five years and the Missouri Methodist Hospital as a PBX operator for five years.
Betty was a member of Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and enjoyed gatherings with her friends from Country Squire. She collected knick-knacks, especially Precious Moments. In her earlier years, she enjoyed taking her sons mushroom hunting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Bessie B. (Prussman) Snapp; husband, James; two sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include daughter, Judy Roderick (Ron); sons, Mike Wolfram (Carol), Stephen Wolfram, Bill Wolfram, all of St, Joseph, Missouri and John Wolfram, Amity, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Oren Snapp, St. Joseph, Missouri and Robert Snapp (Betty), Savannah, Missouri; sister, Twyla Ritter, Seattle, Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Farewell Services 3:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Mattie Mae Tyes
1943-2016

unnamedMattie Mae Tyes 72, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016. She was born November 12, 1943 in Caruthersville, MO. Mattie was preceded in death by mother, Pearlie Mae Burner, daughter, Debbie Tyes, granddaughter, Jackie Tyes. Survivors include, Son Paul Tyes, 8 grandchildren: Jeremiah, Joseph, JaNeal, Jared, Diamond, Paul Jr., Debbreona, and Jayden Tyes, eleven, great grandchildren, and she had several, brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM Saturday, with funeral services to be conducted at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Davis Temple #2 Church, Plattsburg, Missouri, with Elder Carl Grayson officiating. The Interment will be at the Mount Washington Cemetery, Plattsburg, Missouri. Memorials are requested to the Mattie Tyes Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
 

 
Luella Marie Reilly

She was born September 16, 1952 in St Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Annabell and Harold McConnell. She graduated from Lafayette High School. She worked at Community Action Partnership as a Adult Education Teacher and AAA as a travel agent. She loved spending time with her grand kids & family & family dinners, and she was a Christian. Luella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brian Reilly, brother, Floyd McConnell. Survivors include, sons, Jeremiah (Bobbi Collings) Robertson of Savannah, MO, Joshua L (Danielle Kennon) Robertson of Saint Joseph, MO, and Buck William (Alison DaSilva) Robertson of Saint Joseph, MO, grandchildren: Hunter Robertson, Makaylee Robertson, William Wallace Robertson, brother, Terry McConnell of St. Joseph, MO, sister, and Evelyn Jungk of St. Joseph, MO.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Rupp Funeral Home with Richard Bradley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The interment will be at the Fillmore Cemetery.

Jerry Myers
1943-2016

Myers, Jerry. obitphotoJerry Myers, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care.
He was born October 2, 1943 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Jerry lived in Chicago for 30 years working as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Bears and Cubs fan and loved his grandchildren very much.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Myers; and two brothers, Robert and Floyd.
Survivors include children, JD Myers (Beth) and Jeff Myers (Angie); six grandchildren, Ashley, Tristan and Tucker Myers, Chris, Matt and Lindsey Smith; one great-grandchild, Olivia Werner; two sisters, Sharon Bosch and Betty Butler; and mother, Hazel (Long) Myers.
