Voters go to the polls in Nebraska Tuesday for a primary election.

In southeastern Nebraska there are several contested county commission races being decided by voters.

There are two contested races in for county commissioner in Richardson County. In District Two, incumbent David Sickel faces a primary challenge from fellow Republican James Coonce. And, in District Three, Republican incumbent James Standerford is being challenged by Terry Frank.

In Nemaha County there is another contested Republican primary for county commissioner in the second district. Incumbent Dennis Wittmann faces a challenge by Bryan Mellage.
