Registration is underway for this weekend’s Spring Parkway 5K Fun Walk and 15K Run. The annual events are hosted by the City of St. Joseph Parks, Recreation & Civic Facilities Department.

Same day registration and event check-in will be held on the day of the events, but it’s cheaper to register in advance.

Online reservations will be taken for both events through noon on May 27. Participants are encouraged to register online (here) to take advantage of the discounted $25 registration fee.

There is a $30 registration fee for participants who register on the day of the event. Registration fees are the same for both events.

Same day registration and event check-in will be held from 7-7:45am, on the day of the events. The races begin at 8 a.m.

Participants who register before the day of the race may pick up their race packets at the Parks administration office located at 1920 Grand Avenue, May 26 and 27, from 8am-5pm. Both events begin at Krug Park with the 5K Fun Walk ending at the Noyes Tennis Complex and the 15K Run ending at Benton High School. Runners, walkers and spectators may park in the lots located at Krug Park, Noyes Tennis Complex, and Benton High School.

Transportation will be provided from both race finish areas and Krug Park the day of the events. All participants and volunteers will receive a Parkway Run t-shirt and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers of each age group for the 15K Run.
