(Update) 8:53 a.m.  In another Nixle alert, police said the highway ramp has reopened.

A traffic accident prompts a police warning for you to avoid a busy highway interchange in St Joseph.

The accident was reported at about 8 a.m. on the ramp from westbound U.S. Highway 36 to northbound I-229.

A truck rammed into the concrete barrier on the ramp. One victim was found below the bridge near Sixth Street. He was transported to Mosaic Life Care.
