1922-2016

N. Ralph Snapp, 94, Savannah, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, on his beloved late wife’s birthday at LaVerna Village in Savannah, Missouri.
Ralph was born January 25, 1922 to Clarence and Marie (Mosser) Snapp in Troy, Kansas. He served in the US Army during WWII.
He married Mary Katheryne Branson on June 6, 1945. They farmed together for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents; and several siblings.
Survivors include his two sons, Darrel (Pam), Easton, Missouri and Cork (Jeannie), Savannah, Missouri; four grandchildren, JP (Terrenda), Zach (Melissa) and Caleb (Mel) Snapp and Brandy (Brian) Miller; and seven great grandchildren.

David William Scott
1970-2016

unnamed (14)David William Scott 45, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his home. He was born August 19, 1970 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Shirley and Walter Scott. He graduated from Lafayette High School 1988, and married Shelly Argabright on August 26, 1989. He worked at Bradley Concrete, and was a member of the Patee Park Baptist Church. David was very strong in his faith, he always enjoyed helping people and gave them whatever they needed, he also enjoyed fishing, and hunting, but above all he was a loving husband and a great dad. David was preceded in death by mother, Shirley Mae Scott. Survivors include, wife, Shelly Scott of the home, daughter, Cassandra Scott of St. Joseph, MO, and son, Joshua A. Scott of Kansas City, MO, father, Walter Lee Scott of St. Joseph, MO, two brothers, Jarrod L. Scott and James E. Scott, sister, Diana L. Scott all of St. Joseph, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews,.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Memorials are requested in lieu of flowers to the David Scott Memorial fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
