Kansas man sentenced for child porn

USDOJ color
WICHITA, KAN. – An Emporia man was sentenced Monday to six years in federal prison for distributing child pornography.

Acting U.S. Attorney Tom Beall said Zachary E. Krueger, 33, pleaded guilty to one count of distributing child pornography. In his plea, he admitted he distributed child pornography over the Internet using an encrypted peer-to-peer network.

The investigation began with an Internet chat between Krueger and an undercover agent in Delaware. Krueger gave the agent a password to access and download files including images of prepubescent children engaged in sexual activities. Investigators traced Krueger’s IP address back to his home in Emporia.
