Library to host Olympics

St. Joseph Public Library plans to host a three week competition it’s calling Library Olympics.

Participants at the East Hills Library from first through sixth grade will be able to take part in the program. The Library said participants in the Library Olympics will be chosen to represent 8 fictional locations, such as Oz, Wonderland, Narnia, District 12, etc., and compete in various games to earn medals and glory.

The Library Olympics will take place at 4:30 p.m. on June 27, July 11 and July 18. Pre-registration is required and limited. Those interested can sign-up by either calling the East Hills Library at 236-2136 or registering in-person at the front desk.
