Fire crews made quick work of a structure fire in the 2600 block of Sacramento Tuesday. Crews from the St Joseph Fire Department were dispatched shortly after 6am Tuesday.

The first engine company to arrive spotted a small fire on the back porch. Crews put the fire out in about half an hour.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire. A fire inspector was dispatched to the scene. There were no injuries reported.
