Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash in a construction zone on Interstate 35 Wednesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 16-year-old Audry R. Briggs of Eagleville was driving south on I-35 in a construction zone in Harrison County near mile marker 114. Briggs’ vehicle crossed the center line, ran through construction barriers and struck a vehicle traveling north driven by 57-year-old Cheryl L. Fletcher of Kansas City, Missouri.

Briggs was transported by ambulance to the Decatur County Hospital with moderate injuries. Fletcher and passenger 58-year-old Michael D. Samulowitz of Indianapolis, Indiana, were transported to the Decatur County Hospital with minor injuries.
