Four hurt in interstate rollover crash

MSHP badge goldFour people from South Dakota were hurt, three of them seriously, in a rollover crash on I-29 south of Rock Port Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says four people, including a four-year-old and a newborn child were traveling north on the interstate at 3:30 pm Sunday. Their SUV left the road, hit an embankment and rolled over.

All four were taken by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care for treatment. The four year old was later transferred to Children’s Mercy Hospital

The patrol identifies the driver as Joey Walter, 29; Amanda Walter, 26, Joseph Walter, 4, and the baby Amy Walter.
