Flood warnings are in effect for a number of rivers in our area, including the Missouri River at St Joseph. The Missouri River flood stage on Tuesday morning was 14.56 feet. Officials expect the river to rise above minor flood stage by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. It’s expected to crest at 18.3 feet by Wednesday.

102 River at Maryville affecting Andrew and Nodaway Counties.
102 River at Rosendale affecting Andrew and Buchanan Counties.
Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.
Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County.
Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.
Tarkio River at Fairfax affecting Atchison and Holt Counties.
Atchison County roads have already been closed by flooding over the last couple of days. Problems have been reported along U.S. Highway 59 at 250th Street and between 136-highway and Route TT. Q Avenue was shut down between 136-highway and the first bridge south. Route C between Route O and Route M was also closed by high water.
