Students looking to earn their High School Equivalency certificate have another chance with the start of a new session.
St. Joseph Adult Education and Literacy programs will hold HSE class orientation July 25, 26, 27, and 28 at Webster Learning Center. Session times are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The orientation is for students to begin classes Aug. 1. In order to attend class in Aug. students have to attend all four days of orientation.
“As of July 1, 2016, we are still located in the Webster Building but we have moved our classrooms to the east side of the building where you need to enter through door #4,” said Belly Wymore, Dir. of St. Joseph AEL. “We still have the same programs available as always but just know our location in the building has changed.”
The program is for students 20-years-old and older who haven’t obtained their high school diploma. The class is geared to help students work to pass their HSE test which is administered at Hillyard Technical School. The class is free of charge.
The next orientation will take place in September. For more information call (816) 671-4020.
